La Fosse are currently partnered with a customer who are looking to recruit a Lead DevOps Consultant into their team, which is a pivotal role as they embark on a programme of work to update and upgrade their Cloud estate, in Azure.

This role is outside IR35, paying 600-700 per day and an initial 6 month contract, although the programme itself is multi-year. There will be onsite presence needed with this role given the nature of the work involved, and the expectation will be 50/50 between home and office working.

There is also an on-call / out of hours rota you d need to support, approximately 1 week every 6. They need somebody who can be flexible and offer support when required.

Our customer has a new vision in place from the CTO to move their datacentres to Azure, mainly due to simplification, integration, security and resilience. To support that, they want to help to train and upskill the existing workforce to the new world, which is a key part of this role.

Key experience needed:

• Azure and AWS


• Strong infrastructure background across servers, networking, VMware etc.


• Strong troubleshooting skills


• Must be a Technical Leader and upskill the team around them, as well as bringing them on the journey


• Experience with migrations, leading technical forums and facing off to stakeholders


• Ideally Financial Services and Consultancy sector experience
