Summary: The Lead Developer role involves providing technical leadership and mentorship to a development team within a public sector client in Glasgow. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team.
• Rapidly build upon a customer account to meet legislative needs.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Lead, Lead Architect, and Security Manager.
• Develop and modernize Java and Spring Boot based microservices.
• Ensure alignment to existing patterns, controls, and industry best practices.
• Conduct knowledge transfer to junior in-house staff.

Key Skills:

• Experience with Java and Spring Boot based microservices.
• Proficiency in AWS public cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of TDD and Unit-Test tooling.
• Experience in a senior role within engineering teams.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and best-practice approaches.
• Experience with Terraform scripts (desirable).
