We are seeking a Lead Data Reporting Analyst to join a major data transformation programme within a leading global investment and asset management org. You'll drive the delivery of reporting and data solutions as part of the migration from legacy reporting platforms to Snowflake Data Marts, working closely with business and technology teams to deliver high-quality, scalable reporting solutions.

Lead Data Reporting Analyst

We are seeking a Lead Data Reporting Analyst to drive the delivery of reporting and data solutions as part of a strategic migration from legacy reporting platforms to Snowflake Data Marts. This is a hybrid role that combines the analytical capabilities of a Data Analyst with the stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering skills of a Business Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis and delivery of reporting and data requirements across the workstream.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, SMEs, technology teams and delivery leads to define reporting needs and data solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops to capture, challenge and document business and data requirements.
  • Analyse complex data flows, data lineage and mappings to support reporting solutions.
  • Produce high-quality analysis artefacts, including user stories, process flows, data mappings and functional specifications.
  • Investigate data quality issues, perform root cause analysis and support UAT.
  • Support planning, estimation and delivery, ensuring successful migration from legacy data sources to Snowflake.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Lead Data Reporting Analyst, Senior Data Analyst, or hybrid Data Analyst/Business Analyst.
  • Strong background delivering data and reporting projects within Asset Management or Financial Services.
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, data mapping, lineage and data governance.
  • Excellent requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confident leading workshops and communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Agile delivery experience, including user stories and backlog management.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and drive outcomes.
