Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Architecture Leadership: Define and maintain the overall data architecture and strategy, ensuring seamless alignment with business goals and the broader Data & Insights (D&I) vision.
- Design & Modeling: Lead the conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling for key data initiatives.
- Standards & Governance: Establish, maintain, and enforce Data Platform standards, policies, and guidelines to ensure data consistency, quality, and security.
- Roadmap Enablement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate the decommissioning roadmap, modernizing our data landscape.
- Solution Delivery: Create architectural blueprints, artifacts, and guardrails that enable practical, secure, and efficient development.
- Innovation: Keep abreast of the latest data technologies and trends to recommend and implement cutting-edge solutions.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable experience operating as a Lead Data Architect or senior-level data engineering professional within complex enterprise environments.
- Strong command of enterprise data modelling techniques and modern data warehousing principles.
- Hands-on expertise with major cloud data platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.
- Proven track record of translating high-level business requirements into robust, scalable technical architectures.
- Strong stakeholder management.

Leading Financial Services company is looking to bring in a Lead Data Architect to take ownership of enterprise data architecture across multiple platforms and strategic programmes.
You will bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution, designing robust, scalable, and secure data architectures.
