Summary: The Lead Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in a high-growth marketplace scale-up, collaborating with department heads and C-Level executives to drive data strategy, collection, and visualization. This position focuses on generating actionable insights that influence key business decisions. Candidates should be prepared to start within a week and work in a hybrid model, spending two days in the office. The role is outside IR35 and offers a competitive daily rate.

Key Skills:

- Experience working with a variety of teams e.g. performance marketing, digital product, trading, commercial, ecommerce
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience working with modern data stacks (e.g. Snowflake, dbt, Heap, Tableau/Looker)

Contract Lead Data Analyst
Working for an industry leading, high-growth marketplace scale-up, the Lead Data Analyst will work with department heads and C-Level, owning data collection, visualisation and insight generation, influencing key decision making across the business. Candidates must be available to start within 1 week c. £500 p/d (outside IR35) 4-6 months London / hybrid (2 days in office)
The Lead Data Analyst will be responsible for:
- Data strategy and leadership
- Working with teams and senior leaders across the business to drive business growth
- Partnering with product, marketing and commercial teams to generate and operationalise insights
- Data collection, management and visualisation
- Using AI to scale impact
The Lead Data Analyst will have:
- A proven track record as an experienced, commercial Senior Analyst at a consumer focused (b2c) business - marketplace would be ideal, but not essential
- Ability to work confidently with large, complex datasets and translate them into clear, actionable insights
- Ideally worked with a variety of teams e.g. performance marketing, digital product, trading, commercial, ecommerce, etc.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills – used to dealing with senior business leaders
- Strong SQL
- Experience working with modern data stacks (e.g. Snowflake, dbt, Heap, Tableau/Looker, etc.)
- Candidates could come from any consumer sector such as retail, ecommerce, travel, media, etc.
