Summary: The Lead Cyber Security Project Manager at Scottish Power Energy Networks is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of Cyber Security projects, ensuring they meet quality standards within time and cost constraints. This hybrid role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and the management of project deliverables to achieve defined business benefits. The position is initially a 9-month contract with potential for extension. The role is based in Glasgow City Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in generation of investment dossier and RFP/tender exercises
  • Initiate and manage Cyber projects as necessary
  • Plan and monitor projects within the portfolio
  • Agree delegation and use of PMO roles required by the project board
  • Produce the Project Initiation Document
  • Prepare Project Plans in conjunction with Team Managers and PMO roles
  • Manage cyber infrastructure and software delivery projects
  • Prepare necessary reporting for project and departmental needs
  • Manage budgetary control of Cyber projects
  • Manage project RAID and develop contingency plans
  • Liaise with programme management to avoid oversight or duplication
  • Ensure awareness of project benefits and regulatory milestones
  • Support SGO and SPEN business teams to achieve project requirements
  • Prepare reports for the Project Board
  • Agree technical and quality strategy with Project Board members
  • Prepare lessons learned and end of project reports
  • Work with PMO and cyber team stakeholders to define processes
