Role Description
Lead Cloud Azure Engineer -
Partner with the Engineering CoE (centre of excellence) for Data platform to establish and scale the Data Engineering Centre of Excellence, driving engineering standards, platform governance, and technology strategy across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and establish the Data Engineering CoE, including its charter, operating model, and roadmap.
- Evaluate and lead PoCs for data engineering frameworks, tools, and emerging technologies.
- Define adoption roadmaps for approved frameworks and best practices.
- Establish, enforce, and measure engineering standards, governance, and quality metrics.
- Develop reference architectures, reusable patterns, and engineering guardrails.
- Drive engineering excellence through KPIs, maturity assessments, and continuous improvement.
- Align Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) teams under a common engineering vision, while maintaining operational independence.
Key Outcomes
- Operational Data Engineering CoE with clear governance and roadmap.
- Standardized frameworks, engineering practices, and architecture patterns.
- Measure effective of Data engineers across COE and vendor partners
- Strong alignment between CDP and EDP under a unified data engineering strategy
