Summary: The Lead Business Analyst / Project Manager will play a crucial role in a sustainability-focused technology initiative under the Tech Net Zero Programme. This position involves acting as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure project alignment with business strategies and environmental goals. The role requires strong project management skills, including the ability to deliver complex tech-enabled change programmes while maintaining robust governance and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in similar roles and be proficient in key project management tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of projects under the Tech Net Zero Programme, ensuring clear scope, governance, and execution.
- Build and manage detailed project plans using MS Project; track milestones and deliverables, adjusting for risk and dependencies.
- Serve as a bridge between business and IT, eliciting, analysing, and validating requirements through workshops and structured interviews.
- Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders and technical teams to maintain alignment and momentum.
- Document and model business processes using Visio and Confluence to ensure clear communication and traceability.
- Maintain robust project governance artefacts including risk/issue logs, RAID logs, decision trackers, and weekly status reports.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, escalating where necessary to maintain delivery velocity.
- Ensure compliance with governance and reporting frameworks, adhering to regulatory standards.

- Proven track record in hybrid Business Analyst / Project Manager roles, delivering complex tech-enabled change programmes.
- Deep understanding of project lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall approaches.
- Strong capabilities in timeline, scope, and resource management across multi-stakeholder environments.
- Proficiency with key tools: MS Project, Confluence, Visio, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills; confident at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
