Lead Broadcast Media Engineer SDVI ingest platforms
Summary: Lead or Senior Broadcast Media Engineer with expertise in SDVI and ingest platforms is sought for a 12-month contract role based in London. The position requires a deep understanding of content ingest workflows and extensive hands-on experience in workflow design and orchestration within a broadcast environment. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills and familiarity with various ingest tools and cloud infrastructure in media contexts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and configure workflows for content ingest, transcoding, quality control, and metadata processing.
- Integrate SDVI Rally and similar media workflow systems within a broadcast supply chain environment.
- Lead engineering teams, providing technical direction and hands-on delivery.
- Ensure effective orchestration configuration and workflow design.
- Maintain familiarity with broader ingest tooling ecosystem and cloud or hybrid infrastructure.
Key Skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience with SDVI Rally and media workflow systems.
- Deep understanding of content ingest workflows.
- Proven experience in leading engineering teams.
- Technical delivery experience within complex broadcast or media technology programmes.
- Familiarity with tools such as Signiant, Aspera, Telestream, and Cerify.

Lead/Senior Broadcast Media Engineer with SDVI/ingest platforms experience. Role requires deep understanding of content ingest workflows - including file-based ingest, transcoding, quality control and metadata processing. Extensive, hands-on experience including workflow design, orchestration configuration and integration within a broadcast supply chain environment. SDVI Rally experience and or similar media workflow systems using python development.
Senior or lead engineer background, with hands-on technical delivery experience within complex broadcast or media technology programmes
Extensive, hands-on experience with SDVI Rally - including workflow design, orchestration configuration and integration within a broadcast supply chain environment
Proven experience leading engineering teams; able to provide both technical direction and hands-on delivery
Deep understanding of content ingest workflows - including file-based ingest, transcoding, quality control and metadata processing
Familiarity with broader ingest tooling ecosystem (eg Signiant, Aspera, Telestream, Cerify) and cloud or hybrid infrastructure in a media context
