Summary: The Lead Azure Developer will spearhead a technology transformation programme, focusing on migrating legacy systems to cloud-first solutions on Azure. This role involves designing and developing secure, reliable, and scalable applications while providing guidance to other developers. The position requires a strong background in C#/.NET development and experience in leading projects through the software development life cycle. The role is based in Epsom with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cloud-first solutions on Azure.
- Lead the project and define key components.
- Provide guidance to other Azure Developers and the wider team.
- Ensure solutions are secure, reliable, responsive, and scalable.
- Utilize Logic Apps, Functions, and Data Factory effectively.
- Implement best practices such as TDD, CI/CD, and peer review.
Key Skills:
- Strong background in C#/.NET development.
- Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Functions, and Data Factory.
- Proven track record in leading software development projects.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
- Experience in delivering well-engineered solutions.

A global organisation are seeking a Lead Azure Developer to work on a technology transformation programme migrating existing systems from Legacy technology.
Working within an agile environment you will design and develop cloud-first solutions on Azure, ensuring solutions are secure, reliable, responsive and scalable.
As the Lead Azure specialist you will define key parts of the project as well as providing guidance to other Azure Developers and the wider team.
You should have a background in C#/.NET Development and demonstrable experience leading through the full software development life cycle.
You will need strong experience using Logic Apps, Functions & Data Factory as well as Azure DevOps experience. You should also demonstrate a proven track record of delivering well engineered solutions using best practices such as TDD, CI/CD and peer review.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior developer to lead part of a large transformation project.
