Lead Auditor – Midlands £50p/h (outside IR35) + mileage / travel costs + overnight accommodation (as required) + varied projects + long-term contract work.
This is project-based work across the North of the UK & Ireland initially and would suit a contract Lead Auditor who has other clients and is looking to add a very successful and global organisation to their portfolio.
Lead Auditor responsibilities include:
- Act as a Lead Auditor, visiting various sites across the UK & Ireland as required.
- Responsible for undertaking a range of third-party certification / surveillance audits including ISO 41001 FM audits, Quality Management Audits (ISO 9001) Environmental Management Audits (ISO 14001) etc as per project requirement
- Conduct pre audit visits and gap analysis
- Prepare audit plan; write reports; perform follow-up; provide certification recommendations.
- Ensure audit reports, finding evidence and auditor notes are submitted.
- Ensure client non-conformities are closed, review and analyse client responses.
- Provide answers to any requests arising during the technical review of files.
- Ensure all quality and client records related to audit and certification activities are maintained and up to date.
Lead Auditor profile:
- HND / Degree or similar in relevant discipline.
- Practitioner Member CQI (Chartered Quality Institute) or similar.
- IRCA registered Auditor (International Register of Certificated Auditors).
- 2-3yrs Lead Audit experience; Min 2yrs external Lead Audit experience.
- Auditing experience within the Nuclear Supply Chain environment beneficial.
- ISO 9001; ISO 14001; ISO 41001: ISO 18001; ideally ISO 27001 quality management systems experience.
- Experience assisting & organising audit teams beneficial.
- Client / stakeholder management experience.
- Confident communication & presentation skills.
