Summary: The Lead Administrator/PMO role is a four-month contract position focused on providing comprehensive administrative support within the Strategic Change Service. The successful candidate will lead a small team of administrators, ensuring effective organization and functioning of the service while managing competing priorities. This fast-paced role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally. The position is hybrid and based in Edinburgh, with an immediate start required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain day-to-day responsibility for the PMO team, coordinating activities and preparing documents for high-level meetings.
- Organize and support the Strategic Change Service Leadership Team, including diary management and prioritizing meetings.
- Ensure processing of invoices and purchase orders is completed by the PMO Team.
- Participate in meetings, capturing accurate minutes and actions.
- Provide administrative assistance for recruitment, including arranging interviews and managing induction schedules.
- Handle general administrative tasks such as photocopying, mail handling, and travel bookings.
- Support office administration, including health and safety and basic IT support.
