Lead Admin (Azure DevOps)

Summary: The Lead Admin (Azure DevOps) role is a 6-month contract position based in Warwick/Wokingham, UK, requiring a strong background in Azure Platform Engineering and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code. The candidate will be responsible for developing and managing Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, troubleshooting CI/CD pipeline failures, and ensuring best practices in DevOps methodologies. The position demands hands-on experience with Azure networking, security policies, and version control systems. Immediate availability or a one-week notice period is preferred for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proficient in Azure Platform Engineering with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Develop and manage Azure DevOps (ADO) YAML pipelines for automated deployments
• Knowledge of Azure networking, security policies, private endpoints, and monitoring solutions
• Hands-on experience with Terraform state management and remote backends
• Strong in Git-based version control (Azure DevOps Repos, GitHub) and code reviews
• Expertise in Azure authentication/authorization (RBAC, Managed Identities, Service Principals)
• Familiar with Agile methodologies, CI/CD workflows, and DevOps best practices
• Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline failures, Terraform deployments, and Azure platform issues

Key Skills:

• 5-8 years of experience in Azure Platform Engineering
• Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience with Azure DevOps YAML pipelines
