Experienced Land Surveyors are required to work within an established, multi-disciplinary delivery project setting. The Surveyors will:
Undertake survey duties as assigned by the Lead Surveyor to prioritise demand on the project.
Take responsibility for surveying and setting out complex systems, including Civil, Mechanical and Piping Equipment.
Undertake and record as-built positional checks for the works.
Office processing of survey data to produce CAD drawing and survey reports.
Provide technical support to the project as subject matter expert.
Coach, mentor and develop less experienced surveyors / engineers to teach practicable survey / best practice techniques for setting out.
Ensure project quality assurance processes are fully complied with.
Relentlessly focus on safety to ensure a Zero Harm environment.
Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
The role requires an individual experienced in surveying and set-out of complex large projects.
Degree or HND qualified in the field of Surveying.
Able to individually undertake a wide variety of surveys, measurements and Laser Scanning operations using modern surveying equipment and processing software.
Reliable, prepared to carry his own equipment, work alone while paying attention to detail in a busy environment.
Flexible with potential to work night and/or weekend shifts.
A team player who enjoys working in a team environment with good interpersonal and communication skills, able to form effective relationships with delivery partners.
Able to understand project schedules and manage prioritisation of inter-dependent activities.
Have a passion and excitement for his / her work and an ability to solve problems without delay.
Member of the Chartered Institute of Engineering Surveyors (desirable).
A valid CSCS card holder.
IOSH Working Safely.
Design Tools/Software:
Working knowledge of Navisworks and 3D BIM desirable.
Good knowledge of AutoCAD, LSS, Leica Survey Equipment.
