Summary: The LAN/WAN Administrator role involves the installation, maintenance, configuration, and administration of network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, configure, upgrade and administer network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, et al.)
• Wipe configuration of end-of-life network equipment and prepare for salvage
• Administer agency telecommunication circuit moves, adds and changes
• Diagnose, analyze and resolve issues for Department of Public Safety (DPS), Automated Title Processing System (ATPS), Deputy Registrar (DR)
• Create, organize, file and maintain documentation
• Review and monitor enterprise security systems; take appropriate action and respond to alarms/alerts per policy and procedure
• Work with vendors to resolve information system user issues related to DPS networks, systems or applications.
