Lab Test Technician

Summary: The Lab Test Technician role involves working night shifts to operate and monitor test rigs for a Clean-Tech Start-Up focused on green hydrogen production. Candidates must have experience in running test rigs or similar engineering testing, with strong mechanical assembly skills being essential. The position is on-site in NW London and offers both PAYE and outside IR35 payment options. Biochemistry, biology, or medical experience is not relevant for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Starting up and shutting down the rig
• Monitoring data, identifying anomalies, and taking appropriate action
• Assembly and disassembly of test hardware and test equipment
• Adhering to SOPs
• Communicating clearly and effectively

Key Skills:

• Experience running a test rig or similar engineering testing
• Strong mechanical assembly skills
• Experience in electrolyser cell system testing/test rigs (desirable)
• Basic knowledge of data logging and hardware control (desirable)
