Lab Test Technician

Summary: The Lab Test Technician role involves working night shifts to operate and monitor test rigs for a Clean-Tech Start-Up focused on green hydrogen production. Candidates must have strong mechanical assembly skills and experience with test rigs, as biochemistry or medical backgrounds are not relevant. The position requires adherence to standard operating procedures and effective communication. This is a contract role lasting 3-4 months, based in NW London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Starting up and shutting down the rig
• Monitoring data, identifying anomalies, and taking appropriate action
• Assembly and disassembly of test hardware and test equipment
• Adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Communicating clearly and effectively

Key Skills:

• Strong mechanical assembly skills
• Experience running a test rig or similar engineering testing
• Basic knowledge of data logging and hardware control
• Experience in electrolyser cell system testing/test rigs (desirable)
