Summary: The Lab Engineer role involves providing hardware support for PC workstations, laptops, and printers within a pharmaceutical lab environment. This position is full-time and on-site in Greater London, UK, with an initial contract duration of 12 months and potential for extensions. Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting hardware/software issues for lab systems
- Configuring, patching, and managing lab PCs, including licenses
- Business Analysis or Project Management experience is a plus
- Working with external vendors to resolve system problems
- Supporting lab instrumentation (eg, Chromatography Data Systems, Mass Spec, Empower preferred)
- Managing hardware inventory and decommissioning
Key Skills:
- Experience with Windows 10, Linux, and iOS platforms
- Prior experience in a lab or pharmaceutical setting is mandatory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and Remedy Service Request
- Project Management or Business Analyst experience is a plus
