Summary: The L3 Support Engineer for Oracle Symphony is responsible for managing and supporting various components of Oracle Hospitality systems, including EBO, KDS, and POS clients. The role requires expertise in server administration, cloud deployment, and system analysis, along with a strong understanding of networking and payment processing. The ideal candidate will also have experience with SQL querying and virtualization technologies. Preferred certifications include Oracle Hospitality and ITIL Foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support Oracle Hospitality Symphony components such as EBO, KDS, and POS clients.
  • Administer Linux servers and Windows POS clients.
  • Analyze system and POS logs, XML/JSON payloads, and diagnostic traces.
  • Work with REST APIs and understand networking concepts including TCP/IP and TLS communication.
  • Perform SQL querying for data validation, preferably with Oracle or MySQL.
  • Utilize virtualization or container-based infrastructure for environment support.
