Summary: The L1/L2 Operations Lead role involves overseeing enterprise infrastructure environments with a focus on Windows and Linux administration, as well as Azure cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
- Support and administer Windows (Wintel) and Linux server environments.
- Manage Windows Server including Active Directory, Group Policy, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Perform Linux administration including user access management, permissions, log analysis, and system performance tuning.
- Maintain systems through backups, patching, vulnerability remediation, and storage management.
- Troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues across environments.
- Manage Azure infrastructure including virtual networks, load balancers, storage accounts, Firewalls, and VM provisioning.
- Implement and manage SSL certificates and security configurations.
- Support incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Maintain documentation including SOPs and knowledge base articles.
Key Skills:
- 10-15 years of IT infrastructure/operations experience.
- Strong Windows Server (Wintel) administration experience.
- Solid Linux system administration knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management.
- Experience managing server patching and vulnerability remediation.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).

We are looking for an experienced L1/L2 Operations Lead to join a leading technology transformation programme supporting enterprise infrastructure environments. The role requires strong experience in Windows and Linux administration along with Azure cloud infrastructure.
This is a 6-month contract position based in Warwick with hybrid working (3 days onsite per week).
