Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct AML periodic reviews and support the onboarding of new clients when required.
  • Assist the KYC team with new client onboarding, internal queries, potential remediation projects, and process improvement tasks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and compliance, to ensure accurate and timely client information.
  • Exchange routine updates with the compliance team regarding priorities, deadlines, and any issues arising.
  • Manage multiple time-sensitive tasks, including KYC checks, client queries, and internal communications.
  • Organise daily schedules to handle a high volume of tasks and ensure adherence to compliance requirements.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar KYC/AML role within insurance/finance sector.
  • Experience conducting AML periodic reviews and supporting client onboarding.
  • Strong understanding of complex ownership structures.
  • Knowledge of current UK AML/CTF regulations and compliance requirements.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.

Salary (Rate): £250 daily

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced KYC Specialist to join a dynamic AML compliance team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting Know Your Client (KYC) checks and periodic reviews to ensure that client information remains accurate and compliant with AML standards. You will assess ongoing risks, resolve discrepancies, and update internal systems to help prevent financial crime and maintain regulatory compliance.
