Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform KYC due diligence and risk assessments on London CIB clients.
  • Collaborate with relationship managers and offshore KYC analysts for client reviews.
  • Identify financial crime and sanctions risks during client onboarding.
  • Evaluate public records in relation to customer information.
  • Conduct investigations to identify AML typologies and data correlations.
  • Make risk-based judgments on unusual or high-risk activities.
  • Produce comprehensive reports on investigations and findings.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Clear daily screening alerts by monitoring clients for negative information.

Key Skills:

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in KYC/AML, including Audit, Control, Risk, and Research.
  • Proficient in AML regulatory policies and financial industry knowledge.
  • Exceptional research and analytical skills for large volumes of unstructured data.
  • Strong customer service skills, both oral and written.
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of European languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese) is desirable.
  • Experienced in project management and process improvement techniques.
  • Effective in stressful situations with strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Understanding of regulatory reporting requirements (EMIR, FATCA, MiFID, MIFIR, CRS, etc.).
