Summary: The KYC Operational Support Assistant at Steamship Mutual is responsible for conducting and monitoring screening checks within the organization while assisting the Operational Support Team.   • Ensure screening/sanctions checks are conducted in a timely manner with all reports filed on the appropriate file
  • Refer any problems/questions to the Operational Support Team Leader
  • Any potential High/Medium risks to be referred to Legal for Further Investigation
  • Maintain referral spreadsheets

  • Previous administrative experience or knowledge of KYC operational support preferred
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills across all levels, both written and orally
  • Flexible team player and ability to work on own initiative but sufficient judgement to know when to refer to Manager
  • Good self-motivation, proactive outlook in setting and prioritising work and meeting deadlines

Overall Job Purpose : To carry out and monitor screening checks within the organisation and to assist the Operational Support Team.
