Key Responsibilities:

  • Support compliance with UK and international financial crime regulations through client periodic reviews.
  • Build, improve, and review client files for individuals, entities, trusts, and foundations.
  • Serve as an in-house KYC SME, ensuring high standards of KYC data and information.
  • Prepare KYC Memo for clients and ensure correct filing of information in appropriate systems.
  • Refresh Enhanced Due Diligence and KYC information as required.
  • Update tax information and obtain CDB forms.
  • Liaise with Front, Middle Office, and Compliance on queries.
  • Report issues or concerns regarding client files to senior management.
  • Build collaborative relationships with Clients, Wealth Management teams, and Compliance colleagues.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive KYC Analyst experience with a wide range of client types.
  • Excellent knowledge of AML/KYC and due diligence for complex structures.
  • Experience in KYC related projects and Customer Due Diligence remediation projects.
  • Strong understanding of UK and international financial crime regulations.

THIS ROLE IS A DAY RATE CONTRACT - £350-£450 a day

The Company: Our client is a highly recognised Private Bank specialising in investment, institutional asset management & private wealth management

The Role: The KYC Analyst is part of a Project dedicated to Client Periodic review – this is a Day Rate Contract role. The KYC Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Private Bank’s compliance with UK and international financial crime regulations. The KYC Analyst will contribute to the bank’s robust financial crime framework, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. As a contractor The KYC Analyst will work as part of the dedicated client review team, involved in the periodic client reviews, building, improving, and reviewing client files for individuals, entities, trusts and foundations. The role will serve as an in-house KYC SME and will build expert knowledge of the client management systems and screening tools. The KYC Analyst will complete KYC Periodic Reviews to ensure compliance with local regulation and group standards. SME for all KYC matters related to completion and enhancement of data and KYC information to a high standard. The KYC Analyst will prepare the KYC Memo for all clients at the required run rates. Ensure all information is collated and correctly filed in the appropriate systems. Refresh of Enhanced Due Diligence and KYC information as required. Update tax information. Obtain CDB forms. Liaise with the Front, Middle Office and Compliance on any queries. Ensure client data is correct and filed. The KYC Analyst will report on any issues or concerns relating to a client file to senior management and in line with legal obligations. The KYC Analyst will build collaborative and positive working relationships with Clients, Wealth Management teams, Business Management Office, Middle Office and Compliance colleagues.

The Candidate Extensive KYC Analyst experience – having covered a wide range of client types – individuals, corporates and Trusts. Foundations & Trusts KYC experience is highly desired Excellent knowledge of AML/KYC as well as due diligence for Complex Structures. Experience of working on KYC related projects/Customer Due Diligence remediation projects is essential. Strong understanding of UK and international financial crime regulations, including AML, CTF, sanctions, and anti-bribery and corruption laws. Wealth management/Private Banking experience – highly desired
