Summary: The KYC Analyst role involves supporting a large-scale KYC project within the Client Lifecycle Management team in London. The position requires conducting end-to-end Customer Due Diligence reviews while adhering to regulatory requirements and client procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach and the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities:
- Performing remediation/on-boarding and/or periodic KYC reviews for clients.
- Gathering and analysing KYC documentation in accordance with AML policy requirements.
- Sourcing data from approved public sources as per policies and procedures.
- Constructing KYC packs using required information and documentation.
- Keeping key stakeholders informed on progress or bottlenecks in the KYC review process.
- Escalating issues to appropriate teams when information cannot be sourced.
- Conducting direct outreach to internal client departments for required information.
- Conducting screening checks using third-party tools for Sanctions, PEPs, and Adverse Media.
Key Skills:
- Experience in AML/KYC due diligence roles.
- Familiarity with AML/KYC regulations and industry guidelines.
- Knowledge of AML Typologies/Red Flags.
- Understanding of the end-to-end client on-boarding and periodic review process.
- Ability to manage and understand large amounts of complex data.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- BA/BSc Graduate Degree or equivalent.
- Desirable: Experience conducting Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews.
- Desirable: Experience in consultancy or service provider environments.
- Desirable: Experience in investment and corporate banking.
