Knowledge and Information Management Consultant (KIM) Location: Hybrid from Andover, UK Salary: Up to 75,000 per annum Contract: Permanent, Full-TimeAre you ready to make an impact in the world of information management? Our client, a leading player in enabling public sector organisations to transform their services, is seeking a dynamic Knowledge and Information Management Consultant to join their team.About the RoleIn this key role, you will help organisations unlock the power of their data and information, ensuring that the right information is accessible at the right time. You will leverage cutting-edge automation tools, ensure robust data protection policies, and support clients in building their data management strategies from the ground up.Working across the Central Government sector, you will lead on varied and exciting projects, from defining information strategies and performing data maturity assessments to developing high-level architectures for data integration. You will play a pivotal role in designing scalable, cloud-based solutions that empower decision-making at every level of our client's organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and implement KIM solutions that align with client business goals.Perform KIM maturity assessments, identifying gaps and delivering actionable recommendations.Develop business cases that drive investment in KIM initiatives.Shape governance frameworks that encompass taxonomy design, data protection, and compliance.Support bids and proposals, showcasing your expertise in KIM to potential clients.Build lasting relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and uncovering new business opportunities.Essential SkillsExpertise in Information Architecture, Information Governance, and Content Classification.Must qualify for SC clearance - UK resident for at least last 5 years, British nationality, no serious criminal convictions etc. Ideally already have SC clearanceStrong knowledge of KIM frameworks and best practices.A proactive and self-starting approach, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally, with a flexible mindset toward client engagements.Desirable SkillsExperience in Data Strategy Development, KIM Assessments, and Content Migration Planning.Knowledge of Data Protection Regulations and Central Government experience.Relevant certifications such as Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) or TOGAF are a bonus!Why Join?This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid role with a competitive salary of up to 75k, based from Andover with the flexibility to work from home.
