What you will do:

• Undertake kinship and connected persons assessments, including viability and full fostering assessments, following statutory guidance.
• Provide essential support and supervision to kinship carers, ensuring placements meet fostering standards and children’s needs.
• Contribute to care and permanence planning, promoting stable and long-term outcomes for children.
• Prepare and present high-quality reports for fostering panels, including assessment reports and review documentation.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

• Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent)
• Evidence of continued professional development

Registration & Compliance:

• Registered with Social Work England
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks, including the Children Act 1989, Fostering Services Regulations 2011, and Care Planning, Placement and Case Review Regulations
• Enhanced DBS clearance
