Summary: The KDB+ Developer role is a contract position focused on supporting trading operations in Investment Banking and Energy Trading sectors. Candidates will be part of a network of KDB+ Developers, with opportunities for current or future contracts. The position requires a strong background in KDB+ and related technologies, with an emphasis on client-facing communication. The role is based in Central London, requiring in-office presence for part of the week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support trading operations within FX/Fixed-income and commodities trading.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs.
- Utilize KDB+ and q language for data management and analysis.
- Work within Unix/Linux environments to develop and maintain systems.
- Engage in software development methodologies and SDLC processes.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with KDB+.
- Solid understanding of q language and time-series data structures.
