Summary: We are looking for a skilled Juniper Consultant specializing in SRX platforms to join a critical project in London. The role requires extensive hands-on experience with CLI configuration and troubleshooting at a JNCIP/E level. The consultant will work closely with network architects and security teams to enhance network infrastructure security. This position is a 6-month contract and falls inside IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot Juniper SRX firewalls in complex enterprise environments.
- Implement security policies, NAT, VPNs, and routing protocols using CLI.
- Collaborate with network architects and security teams to ensure robust and secure network infrastructure.
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Participate in change management and incident resolution processes.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience with Juniper SRX firewalls in enterprise environments.
- JNCIP or JNCIE certification (Security or Enterprise) is required.
- Strong command-line interface (CLI) configuration skills.
- In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VPNs (IPSec, SSL), and firewall policies.
- Experience working in environments governed by IR35 regulations.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
