Summary: The Junior Website Design Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of website accessibility projects, ensuring compliance with regulations while managing in-house and partner-led initiatives. The role requires strong experience in change and vendor management, with a focus on Agile methodologies. The position is based in Surrey and involves collaboration with various stakeholders to drive project success. The ideal candidate will have a background in website design, UX/UI/CX, or digital accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review projects (partner-led or in-house) and engage the relevant business stakeholders
  • Publish and implement Quarterly Business Reviews with partners
  • Conduct proactive, weekly project reviews to anticipate and mitigate risks
  • Manage the people supply chain: identify key roles proactively and collaborate with the PMO team to improve delivery methodologies and documentation

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience using Agile/Sprints and a product (MVP)-centric approach
  • A proven track record of driving innovation within teams
  • Strong team player, comfortable working in cross-functional and distributed teams
  • Strong analytical skills to understand complex issues and propose effective solutions

  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA is preferred

Junior Website Design Project Manager

Day rate: £170 p/day

Inside IR35

Start date: ASAP

Contract length: 12 months

Office days: 3 days a week in Surrey office

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Overall ownership of delivery by managing either in-house projects or through partners, within defined timelines and budgets. Must have strong experience in Change Management and Vendor Management. You will be working on Website Accessibility projects to ensure the consumer website is in line with regulations. A strong background within Website Design, UX/UI/CX or Digital Accessibility is preferred!

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the people supply chain: identify key roles proactively and collaborate with the PMO team to improve delivery methodologies and documentation

HOURS OF WORK

37.5-hour work week. Some evening and weekend work may be required during emergencies or major project deliveries.
