Summary: The Junior Test Engineer role involves supporting new technology initiatives (NTIs) and new product introductions (NPIs) by conducting testing of materials and prototypes. The position requires collaboration with project engineers and global teams to analyze and report test results. The engineer will also be responsible for writing protocols and work instructions while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This role is suited for individuals with a background in engineering or R&D laboratories, emphasizing strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support NTIs by undertaking testing of materials and concepts in collaboration with Project Engineers.
- Analyze, interpret, and communicate results in summary test reports.
- Support NPIs by conducting bench testing of prototype products with global NPI teams.
- Write protocols, work instructions, and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with other departments regarding test results.
- Learn and apply departmental processes, procedures, and equipment consistently.
- Understand quality systems and ensure compliance with PPE requirements.
- Work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrate good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain excellent attention to detail and follow instructions precisely.
