Summary: The Junior Test Engineer role at Blatchford involves implementing the V&V strategy in compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA QSR within a dynamic R&D team. Key Responsibilities:
- V&V test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Working with product development and other teams to define testing strategies.
- Developing detailed test plans per specifications.
- Executing automated and manual test cases.
- Evaluating, selecting, and developing test automation tools and frameworks.
- Ensuring all test developments follow a disciplined engineering process.
- Providing test forecasts and identifying test lab needs for future projects.
- Communicating status regularly to peers and senior management.
- Supporting preparation for internal and external audits.
- Developing test procedures and work instructions as required by programs.
Key Skills:
- BSc/BEng in Science or Engineering related discipline.
- Previous experience in testing, preferably in regulated industries (Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, or Aerospace).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle multiple challenging, unstructured areas of responsibility.

Due to the continued growth and development of our dynamic, multi-disciplinary R&D team, we have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Test Engineer on a six month, fixed-term-contract, to be based at our Head Office in Basingstoke.
The role
