Summary: The Junior SQL Developer role involves collaborating with senior developers to design and implement SQL integration solutions within a law firm. The position requires writing efficient code, testing, debugging, and participating in code reviews to maintain quality standards. The developer will also troubleshoot software defects and enhance existing solutions. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement with two days of remote work per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Senior Developers and SQL experts to design and develop SQL integration solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code
- Test and debug code to ensure proper functionality
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues
- Maintain and develop enhancements to existing in-house solutions
Key Skills:
- Roughly around 2 years commercial SQL development experience
- Excellent knowledge of database concepts and SQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers
- Skilled at analysing, designing, coding, testing, and deploying simple to intermediate level Microsoft SQL Server solutions
- Experience working in SQL Server Production Environments, T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Visual Studio, PowerShell, VBA/C#
- Understanding SQL Server architecture and database design/layout
