Summary: Dewey Group is seeking Junior Site Engineers for rotary piling projects across Central London. This role offers a valuable opportunity for engineers to gain experience in the piling industry while working with seasoned professionals on complex projects. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of engineering tasks and quality control, although prior piling experience is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out verticality checks on rotary bored piles
- Using lasers and levels for setting out and QA purposes
- Inspecting reinforcement cages before concrete pours
- Completing and submitting NCRs (non-conformance reports)
- Supporting site supervisors, rig teams, and senior engineers
- Maintaining accurate records and QA documentation
Key Skills:
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer or Junior Engineer on construction or civils projects
- Proficient in the use of lasers, levels, and setting-out tools
- Comfortable with reinforcement inspections and reporting procedures
- Valid CSCS card
- Right to work in the UK
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
