Summary: The Junior SAP Project Systems Consultant will support a live SAP S/4HANA upgrade programme, focusing on project and asset-related workstreams, regression testing, and functional support within a large enterprise environment. The role requires hands-on involvement in testing activities, business process validation, and issue resolution. The position is based in South Birmingham and offers a hybrid working arrangement. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders and testing teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support SAP S/4HANA upgrade activities across Project Systems workstreams
- Support regression testing across project and asset-related processes
- Perform functional validation, impact analysis, and defect triage activities
- Support SIT/UAT activities and testing governance processes
- Work closely with business stakeholders, testing teams, and wider SAP delivery functions
- Support issue resolution and remediation activities across impacted areas
- Assist with process validation and functional support activities throughout the programme
Key Skills:
- SAP Project Systems functional consulting experience
- Proven SAP S/4HANA programme or upgrade exposure
- Hands-on experience supporting regression testing, SIT, and UAT activities
- Understanding of projects, assets, and related SAP process areas
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Utilities or energy sector experience beneficial
- Ability to operate within fast-paced enterprise programme environments

Junior SAP Project Systems Consultant – Utilities Programme
Robert Half are supporting a major UK organisation on the search for an SAP S/4HANA Project Systems Consultant to support a live S/4 upgrade programme. This role will focus on supporting projects and asset-related workstreams, regression testing activities, and functional support across SAP Project Systems within a large-scale enterprise SAP environment. The position requires a hands-on consultant comfortable supporting testing activities, business process validation, and issue resolution across project and asset management related SAP processes.
Assignment Details
Initial 6 month contract Hybrid working c 1-2 days in South Birmingham Start : ASAP start c.1-2 week turnaround following offer and onboarding cheeks Day Rate: £500-550 p/dya via FCSA Umbrella Company
