Summary: The Junior Project Manager role at a leading global financial institution in Belfast involves providing essential project management support for a global remediation program. The position focuses on mitigating market disruption risk and addressing regulatory requirements, offering exposure to global market operations and project management. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide foundational project management support including document tracking, scheduling meetings, and documenting meeting minutes.
- Assist in submitting project updates to meet strict regulatory reporting requirements.
- Coordinate daily project activities, and maintain project plans, status reports, and RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs.
- Maintain and distribute reports on daily UAT (User Acceptance Testing) results.
- Track key KPIs regarding execution and pass rates, trade inventory bookings, defect discovery rates, and progress burndowns.
- Gradually take on additional responsibilities including issue/risk identification and resolution, dependency tracking, and facilitating working group meetings.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of the mechanics of a project plan and the ability to highlight the knock-on impacts of changes.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Inquisitive mindset—unafraid to ask questions and dig into the details.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
