Summary: The Junior Network Engineer role at Exordior Group involves managing the complete project life cycle for network design and deployment within the Data Centre and Telecom Service Provider sectors. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and the preparation of detailed project documentation, while also ensuring adherence to implementation milestones and service level agreements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network infrastructure hardware and relevant certifications in Juniper technologies. This role is focused on project implementation rather than support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the complete project life cycle - requirement gathering, design, BOM preparation, planning, implementation, and validation.
- Serve as SPOC for all internal and external stakeholders, including Project Managers, Construction Leads, IBX Operations, and internal engineering teams.
- Lead and participate in sync-up calls, project status meetings, and coordination discussions across cross-functional teams and geographically distributed sites.
- Prepare detailed project documentation: rack elevation diagrams, logical and physical network topologies, cable Matrix (in-rack and room-to-room), and deployment timelines.
- Drive and monitor implementation milestones, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines and SLAs.
- Responsible for logical and physical configuration of network infrastructure hardware including Palo Alto Firewalls, ZPE Out-of-Band devices, Cisco Catalyst/Nexus Switches, and Juniper EX/QFX/MX series devices.
- Create and maintain network build documents, change management records, and as-built documentation.
- Provide technical validation of onsite installation including power redundancy, cabling quality, and device labeling.
- Coordinate with local onsite teams or partners to ensure seamless deployment and troubleshooting as needed.
Key Skills:
- Deployment, configuration, and support of Juniper EX/QFX/MX Series devices.
- Wireless implementation using Juniper Mist - including onboarding via Mist AI.
- Junos OS configuration, CLI Scripting, and automation with Ansible/Python.
- JNCIA (Juniper Networks Certified Associate)
- JNCIS (Specialist) - Enterprise Routing and Switching
- JNCIP (Professional) - preferred or in progress
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst/Nexus Switches, VLAN management, STP, and EtherChannel.
- Familiarity with ZPE NodeGrid Out-of-Band devices and Palo Alto Firewall configuration.
- In-depth knowledge of Layer 2/3 technologies, BGP, OSPF, VRRP, and EVPN/VXLAN.
- Proficiency in data center deployments, including structured cabling and redundancy validation.
- Experience with ITIL processes, change management, and network documentation (Visio/Excel/Confluence).
- Exposure to cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and hybrid WAN solutions is a plus.
- Strong communication and remote collaboration skills across regional/global teams.
