Key Responsibilities:
- Complete the replacement of 50 end-of-life network switches across EMEA colocation sites.
- Preconfigure devices in the lab and work with remote hands to rack devices.
- Raise change requests, communicate with stakeholders, and obtain approval for migrations.
- Migrate connections from old to new devices during agreed weekend windows.
- Perform necessary checks and prepare for start-of-week validation on Sundays.
- Coordinate decommissioning, un-racking, and disposal of old equipment.
- Track progress in a centralized tracking sheet.
Key Skills:
- Professional-level working knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, BGP routing, PIM routing, STP, route maps, access lists).
- Hands-on experience with network routers and switches.
- Experience working with Arista and Cisco switches.
- Experience in the financial services domain is a plus.
- Experience managing similar projects end-to-end is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Ansible or similar automation tools is desirable.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.

- Provide a Network Engineer to complete the replacement of 50 end-of-life network switches across EMEA colocation sites.
- Candidate should be located in the 1CP office to stay in close proximity to stakeholders whose applications run on these EOL switches, along with the Specialized Infra EMEA Lead.
- Preconfigure devices in the lab.
- Work with remote hands to rack devices.
- Raise change requests, communicate with stakeholders, and obtain approval for migrations within agreed windows.
- Migrate connections from old to new devices during agreed weekend windows with remote hands support.
- Perform necessary checks and be prepared for start-of-week validation on Sunday should any issues arise.
