Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting to a rare opportunity for a Junior Litigation Lawyer to join a well-regarded London Borough Council on a locum basis.

Our client is looking for a Locum Litigation Lawyer with some local authority experience to join their friendly and welcoming team. The role would be ideally suited to a newly qualified lawyer or a junior lawyer with one-two years PQE.

This role is offering an initial 3 month contract with the opportunity to be extended. This is a full-time role and the successful candidate will have to attend the office twice per week and attend court as and when needed. Therefore this role would suit someone who is able to commute to South London.

The main duties of this role include handling a full caseload of litigation matters including:

  • Civil Litigation
  • Housing Litigation
  • Criminal Litigation/Prosecutions

Our client is seeking a Qualified Solicitor or Barrister who ideally has previous experience of working in local government.
