Summary: We are looking for a Junior Level Service Desk Support Staff (Level 1) to join a government department project through a leading IT services provider. This role is ideal for entry-level IT professionals seeking hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. The position requires security clearance and offers a hybrid working arrangement. The contract duration is 6 months and falls inside IR35 regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage and categorise support requests efficiently
  • Provide first-line support to end users, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met
  • Troubleshoot technical issues independently and escalate where necessary
  • Work collaboratively with the wider IT team to ensure seamless issue resolution

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in a Service Desk/IT Support role (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative
  • Excellent communication skills and customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary (Rate): 180.00
