Key Responsibilities:

  • Unbox and install laptops and desktops, performing straight swaps with users as required.
  • Install equipment to desks and ensure proper power connections.
  • Install monitor arms and other peripherals as needed.
  • Ensure all installations are completed according to the customer runbook.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and best practices while carrying out installations.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations and report any issues or discrepancies.

Key Skills:

  • Prior experience in IT, ideally with knowledge of installing IT Hardware & peripherals.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow installation guidelines and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Junior IT Engineer - Deployments Glasgow - 3 Month Contract - Excellent Experience

Here at Lucid we have an exciting opportunity for a Junior IT Engineer / IT Grad, to join our customer to gain invaluable experience of large scale deployments. This will be an initial 4-8 week contract, supporting a hardware deployment covering: Desktops, Laptops & IT Peripherals.

Responsibilities:

  • Unbox and install laptops and desktops, performing straight swaps with users as required.
  • Install equipment to desks and ensure proper power connections.
  • Install monitor arms and other peripherals as needed.
  • Ensure all installations are completed according to the customer runbook.
