Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of multiple projects and programmes, working closely with experienced managers
- Conduct data analysis to support business decisions and identify insights for stakeholders
- Help resolve day-to-day operational challenges and provide practical support to team members and stakeholders
- Assist in organising project activities, documentation, and reporting across multiple initiatives
- Build relationships with colleagues across the business and engage with senior stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions and learn best practices
- Contribute to technical aspects of project delivery, leveraging analytical skills and expanding technical knowledge
Key Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in project analysis, data analysis, or business analysis roles
- Strong Excel skills (essential) – able to manipulate data, create formulas, and produce meaningful analysis
- Proficiency in PowerPoint (essential) – able to create professional presentations for stakeholders
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to new tasks and changing priorities
- Experience in financial services preferred

About the Role: We’re seeking an enthusiastic Junior IT Business & Data Analyst to join our team based at a Tier 1 Global Bank. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to learn, develop new skills, and gain hands-on experience working on a variety of exciting projects.
Location: Birmingham (3 days a week in client's central Birmingham office, 2 days from home)
Rate: up to £30k p.a. (dependent on experience)
Contract: 6 months FTC with possibility of extension (PAYE basis, inside IR35)
