Summary: The Junior Investment Banking Infrastructure Project Manager will support end-to-end technology projects within a data center environment for an investment banking client. This role requires managing multiple projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering technology solutions in mission-critical settings. Candidates should have a strong background in project management and data center infrastructure. The position is a 12-month initial contract based in London with hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support for End to End Technology for programs and projects.
- Perform project management responsibilities relating to Information Technology implementations, upgrades, conversion, and recovery.
- Manage multiple projects or a single major project.
- Partner with Program and Project Managers and SMEs to create business requirements for technology solutions.
- Assist with technology estimates and manage low to moderate complexity technology solutions for projects to full-scale deployment.
- Manage timelines and communicate project status with matrix management responsibility.
- Build positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Uncover root causes to business challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendations.
Key Skills:
- Formal full end-to-end project management experience with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver high-quality technical software development projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially PROJECT, EXCEL, and OUTLOOK.
- Knowledge of PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Project Management Professional (APM, PMI) or equivalent certification is desirable.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is an advantage.

Our Investment Banking client is looking for a Junior Infra PM to join their team on a 12 month initial contract.
Prior experience managing projects within data centre environments is essential for this role. Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of data centre infrastructure, operational best practices, and the ability to deliver technology solutions in mission-critical settings
Role Description:
Support for End to End Technology for programs and projects.
Performs project management responsibilities relating to Information Technology implementations, upgrades, conversion and recovery.
Role has direct and matrixed execution responsibility across all technology organizations as well as LOB Portfolio/Program Manager on the business side for delivering the program/projects.
Manages multiple projects or a single major project.
Partners with Program and Project Managers and SMEs to create business requirements for technology solutions.
Assists with technology estimates, manage low to moderate complexity technology solutions for projects to a full-scale deployment in a live environment.
Manages to timelines and communicate project status and has Matrix management responsibility.
Builds positive give and take relationships with stakeholders.
Uses the right questions and tools to uncover root causes to business challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendations.
Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience.
Qualifications:
Desirable
Project Management Professional (APM, PMI) or equivalent certification.
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification will be an advantage.
Skills:
Essential
Formal full end-to-end project management experience with a proven track record of successful project delivery is essential. A background in software project development is desirable.
Strong project management skills, a proven ability to deliver high-quality technical software development projects on time and within budget, including development of an overall project plan and management of issues/risks and watch items.
An excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (most especially PROJECT, EXCEL and OUTLOOK skills are essential). Knowledge of PowerPoint and SharePoint
