Summary: The Junior HR Business Partner role is a 9-12 month fixed-term contract based in Droitwich, West Midlands, focusing on providing operational HR support within a manufacturing environment. The position involves advising on employee relations, managing HR data, leading recruitment efforts, and facilitating training and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a CIPD Level 5 qualification and experience in a generalist HR role, with a strong emphasis on interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and resolutions on employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Record and monitor sickness absence and support the application of absence management procedures.
- Update and maintain the HR Information System and manage HR record systems.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for various staff levels and ensure effective onboarding for new hires.
- Coach and mentor managers, organize training, and support talent development activities.
Key Skills:
- CIPD qualification Level 5 preferable.
- Experience at Senior HR Advisor level, ideally in a generalist role.
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering organization preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels.
- Good organizational and administrative skills with knowledge of HR systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to conflict management.
