Summary: The Junior Finance Analyst role is an opportunity to join a global tech organization within its FP&A department, focusing on the ground transportation sector. The position involves budgeting, forecasting, and trading analysis to influence business performance. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension, requiring 37.5 hours of work per week. The role is based in Manchester and classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in extracting, transforming, and presenting financial data for stakeholder insights.
- Support key reporting processes and monitor trading performance.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate across teams to understand market trends and contribute to quarterly forecasts.
- Oversee rebate modelling to shape strategic decisions.
Key Skills:
- Pursuing or completed a professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Strong command of Excel and Google Suite tools.
- Basic knowledge of SAP, especially for month-end reconciliations.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven insights.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commercial awareness and curiosity about industry trends.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with confidence in presenting findings.

We are supporting a global tech organisation, which is a household name.
6 months with expectations of extensions- 37.5 hours per week – £36.50 Inside IR35 per hour – £273.75 Inside IR35 per day – 2 days per week in the Manchester office

In this role, you’ll dive into budgeting, forecasting, and trading analysis, directly influencing business performance and decision-making in a fast-paced, innovative setting.
What You’ll Do:
Assist in extracting, transforming, and presenting financial data to enable clear insights for stakeholders. Support key reporting processes, monitor trading performance, and conduct variance analysis to identify opportunities and risks. Collaborate across teams to understand market trends, contribute to quarterly forecasts, and oversee rebate modelling. Your work will help shape strategic decisions and foster continuous improvement in a rapidly evolving industry.
