Job Overview Job purpose Ocean Winds, an international company created as a 50-50 joint venture in 2020 by EDP Renewables and ENGIE. At Ocean Winds we are dedicated to offshore wind energy, an energy we believe will lead us to a better, carbon neutral world.
Environment This full-time Document Control Apprentice role takes 12 months to complete. While working within a well-established company in a large city centre office, with open plan seating arrangement consisting of around 130 employees. The successful candidate will be provided with ongoing, on the job training while providing administrative support when working as part of the Document Control team, and as part of a larger Legal team within the renewable energy sector. The team works a 2-3 days in the office per week and the rest can be worked at home, if preferred.
What might a day in this role look like? The opportunity to develop skills and retain knowledge through hands-on activities as well as offered training. All while providing assistant support to the management team and collaborating with other internal employees and external clients to assist with data entry and updating documentation, etc, and other day-to-day administrative activities. An accomplished skilful understanding and application of Microsoft Office programmes; Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint and teams).
