Summary: The Junior Designer role at Polar Black involves supporting the creative team in producing visually compelling designs for live events, immersive experiences, and brand activations. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design team across experiential, event, installation, and brand projects
- Translate briefs and brand guidelines into clear, well-crafted visual outputs
- Support concept development and visual storytelling under Creative Lead direction
- Produce presentation-ready layouts, mood boards, and design decks
- Create venue layouts and floorplans
- Design and prepare print-ready artwork for small to large scale graphics
- Design assets such as invitations, e-vites, branded signage, set graphics, and printed collateral
- Create 2D mock-ups and simple visualisations
- Prepare briefs and working files for freelance designers where required
- Collaborate with producers to ensure designs are practical, on-brand, and production-ready
- Manage feedback efficiently and iterate designs at pace
- Work across multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines
Key Skills:
- 2+ years’ experience in a design role, ideally within events, experiential, or luxury branding
- Interest in luxury brands and aesthetics, and contemporary culture (design, fashion, and art)

The Role
As a Junior Designer, you will support the creative team in delivering visually compelling design work across live events, immersive experiences, and brand activations. Reporting into the Creative Lead and Head of Creative and working closely with the wider design and production teams, you will support projects from early concept development through to execution, contributing strong attention to detail while operating within established creative direction.

Company Benefits
- Flexible Working Hours: You can structure your 8-hour between 8am - 8pm. Our core hours are from 10am - 4pm for collaboration. Choose what works for you, as long as client and team needs are supported.
- Annual Leave: 20 days per year excluding bank holidays. Holiday entitlement increases in line with length of service (21 days after 2 years, 22 days after 3 years), capped at 30 days per year.
- Annual Leave Carryover: Alongside your standard holiday entitlement, you may carry up to 3 unused days into the following year. Request approval in advance so we can plan properly as a team.
