Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using modern tools and frameworks.
- Assist with integrating and processing structured and unstructured data across cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to design and deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Learn to work with batch and streaming data processing technologies.
- Contribute to maintaining data quality, governance, and security standards.
- Get involved in testing, monitoring, and documenting data workflows.
- Continuously learn and upskill in emerging tools, technologies, and best practices.
Key Skills:
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Some programming experience with Python, Java, or Scala.
- Familiarity with SQL and working with databases.
- Awareness of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and a willingness to develop expertise.
- An interest in data engineering concepts such as data pipelines, data lakes/warehouses, and streaming data.
