Summary: The Junior Compliance Analyst role at a renowned global law firm in Liverpool involves supporting the Manager and Senior Analysts in client and matter intake processes. This position is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working arrangements. The role requires conducting client due diligence and managing compliance-related queries while adhering to Anti-Money Laundering Regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day tasks relating to all aspects of the firm's Client and Matter Inception processes
- Manage the compliance inbox and answer various ad hoc queries
- Undertake client due diligence checks and determine the nature and level of due diligence required to comply with Anti-Money Laundering Regulations
- Assess the risk profile of new and existing clients and matters and escalating issues as appropriate
- Carry out conflict searches and identifying and resolving (and escalating as appropriate) any conflict issues arising out of searches undertaken or reviewed
- Conduct research as part of client due diligence using external and internal databases
- Provide advice to partners, fee earners and secretaries on Anti-Money Laundering, general inception and conflicts queries
Key Skills:
- Previous experience working in a similar role within a law firm
- Experience in conducting client due diligence and/or conflicts analysis
- Demonstrate an understanding of the SRA's rules regarding conflicts of interest and confidentiality
- Ability to analyse data and reach reasoned conclusions
- Experience in dealing effectively with stakeholders and senior management

One of renowned global law firm clients is seeking an August 2026 or 2027 Future Trainee to join their Liverpool office as a Junior Compliance Analyst on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.
