Summary: The Junior Buyer role at a Fortune 100 client involves managing a designated supplier base within the Aftermarket Procurement team, focusing on response time, cost, quality, and lean targets. This position is initially a 12-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension for the right candidate. The role requires procurement experience, strong analytical skills, and effective communication abilities to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. The working arrangement is hybrid, with three days on-site and two days working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a designated supplier base within the Aftermarket Procurement team to meet response time, cost, quality, and lean targets.
• Collaborate with business partners and suppliers to resolve facility-specific supplier issues.
• Act as a liaison with Category & Product Purchasing and Logistics professionals.
• Implement network strategies from Category & Product Supply at the Facility level.
• Manage Aftermarket expectations for the Global Aftermarket Business to deliver year-on-year benefits.
• Provide expertise in launching and managing purchase orders related to Aftermarket parts and supplier tooling.

• Experience in a supply chain and purchasing environment or relevant degree.

• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate and receive help.
• High levels of numeracy and strong data analytical skills.
• Expert communication skills for building partnerships across an internal matrix organization and external suppliers.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, and MS PowerPoint, including pivot tables and data analysis.
• SAP experience and knowledge of quality and lean manufacturing principles are beneficial.
